Amid Coronavirus crisis, on March 29, 2020 at 10:30 am, our Honourable Chairman Sir Mr. Yogendra Rana Ji self-drove himself to Shir Hari Old Age Home Vidisha and donated fresh farm grown organic vegetables in bulk around 100kg's to the senior citizen and elderly people. Following the protocols, our Chairman Sir took this brave step to help and contribute towards the community especially when the world faces a severe lockdown due to Corona pandemic.

Springfield World School, Vidisha organised a Cutest Baby Contest in association with Dainik Bhaskar on March 7, 2020 in which over 700 students participated. The conetst was then followed by a Fun Fair for students. Our Honourable Chairman Mr. Yogendra Rana declared all 700 students for the first position stating that all kids are god's creating and thus, cutest.

Recently, on March 6, 2020, our teachers conducted an awareness programme on Coronavirus for our Springfield World School students. The motive behind this workshop was to educate our students regarding this pandemic disease and its preventive measures and precautions. Our teachers displayed a presentation for our students which created an awareness regarding the disease and its safety tips.

Springfield World School, Vidisha conducted an Annual School Exhibition within school premises on February 2, 2020. Our students prepared many exhibits and models on various subject concepts. More than 400 projects and art works were displayed by Springfield students. The exhibition was based on the ideology that not all kids love Science but all kids love something!
Such exhibitions encourage our students in developing a deep understanding of concepts and provide an opportunity to identify their favourite areas which they can share within the school community.
Our parents were highly impressed and proud to see such beautiful models, multiple charts, the artistry and efforts of our students behind the exhibits. In addition, our students learnt research and organisational skills along with team work while setting up the exhibition.

SBS Taekwondo Club organised the Freshers District Taekwondo Championship on January 29, 2020 at Arihant Vihar Vidisha. Springfield World School bagged the first position trophy as all of our 44 participants won medals and represented the school gloriously. We won 10 Gold Medals, 8 Silver Medals and 26 Bronze Medals. 300 students from all around the district participated in this competition.

This day date marks the assassination of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in 1948, by Nathuram Godse. Springfield World School's students were seen at Neemtal Square, Vidisha where they paid their heartfelt tribute to Father of the Nation. In the end, our students sang the National Anthem and gave a speech on Mahatma Gandhi.

On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Springfield World School participated in the Vasant Panchami festivities on January 29, 2020 by doing Goddess Saraswati Pooja in the school's temple. Our students were addressed by our teachers regarding the origin of Maa Saraswati, Goddess of Vaani and Vidya. Students highly enjoyed the program and also learned the spiritual secret behind the importance of education too. Students were found even happier when the sweets were distributed and they cheeringly entered their respective classes back.

Not only our students participated for the first time, but also bagged FIRST POSITION in the Best Cultural Programme by a school category.
